Події починаються в 1975 році у В'єтнамі, в день, коли американські солдати рятують з вьетконгівского концтабору свого співвітчизника - Боббі МакБейна, жити якому залишалося лише кілька хвилин. Але в небі з'явився рятівний гелікоптер ... Минуло 15 років, і вже МакБейн "з товаришами" вирушив до Колумбії, щоб помститися за свого армійського друга Роберто Сантоса, який віддав життя в ім'я визволення рідного народу від наркотичного гніту.
