His tragic story is about how he began a thriving business with a useless fashion product derived from the trees of a forest. As his business booms, the forest and its inhabitants suffer as he wantonly clearcuts without regard to the warnings of a wise old creature called the Lorax about the dire consequences of his greed.

Головний герой мультфільму – добрий 20-метровий юний апатозавр на ім'я Арло. Він живе на Землі, тільки не на такій, як ми всі. Він живе на Землі, на яку ніколи не падав астероїд і динозаври не вимирали. Несподівано для всієї родини Арло відбуваються події, після яких хлопець змушений відправитися у подорож. Тепер від нього залежить чи залишиться мирним розмірене життя родичів. Довга дорога по незнайомих місцях могла б здатися динозавру нудною, або навіть страшною. Але, на щастя, він знайшов чудового супутника – людину, хлопчика на ім'я Плямочка. Так дорога стала веселішою та і до мети дістатися легше разом.
Сюжет
