Греція. Егейське море. 1943 рік. Німеччина збирається здійснити бліцкриг на острів Керос. Дві тисячі британських солдатів опинилися в пастці на цьому крихітному острівці. Їм, виснаженим і безпорадним, залишалося жити всього тиждень. Евакуація британських солдатів була неможлива, бо підходи до острова блокували дві німецькі гармати з радарним наведенням, розташовані на сусідньому острові Наварон.
