In Beograd, mid-1990s, 20 people's paths crisscross one night in rage and theater. A callow youth dents a car; its owner hunts him down and trashes his father's flat. Michael, back from abroad, hopes to reclaim Natalia; her new, younger lover seems outclassed. A Bosnian drives a bus to eke out subsistence; his son works the Black Market for a sadist. A cabby buys drinks for a cop he crippled in revenge. Swarthy friends at a gym confess betrayals of each other; violence erupts, then one menaces a woman on a train. Another young woman, traumatized when a knife-wielding youth commandeers her bus, calls for help and ends up with a gun at her head. It's a cabaret macabre.

Мілошу не хочеться цього, але він все ж погоджується, так як його спокусила матеріальна сторона питання. Незабаром чоловік починає шкодувати про своє рішення, так як порно, яке знімає Вукмір, наповнене жорстокістю і збоченнями і є частиною експортної "продукції", виробленої під егідою державної організації.
Сюжет
В минулому Мілош був зіркою сербського порно. Зараз він став розсудливим, живе з маленьким сином і дружиною. Несподівано на зв'язок з ним виходить Вукмір, і пропонує знову зайнятися старою справою. Мілошу не хочеться цього, але він все ж погоджується, так як його спокусила матеріальна сторона питання. On the far side of middle age, business owner Vlada and his wife Milena live an upper middle class lifestyle outside of Belgrade. Without really thinking about it as they go about their day-to-day business, they are dedicated to protecting that comfortable life they've eked out for themselves and their now young adult to teenaged children, Natasha, Milos and Katarina. There is some friction between Vlada and Natasha for her anti-Serbian stance due to the atrocities exacted by the government during the Balkan War, she having written an award winning essay on the subject. Many Balkans, including Serbians, are calling for those who committed war crimes to be prosecuted. The reason for Vlada's pro-Serbian stance is that he was a soldier fighting for the Serbs during the war, he and Milena who still have among their social circle some of Vlada's fellow ex-soldiers and their now spouses and partners. Upon a visit to her physician, Milena learns that she has a lump in her left breast, she never having done a mammogram. As she contemplates her health and waits to get the lump checked out, she decides not to say anything to her family. Concurrently as she does a major cleaning of the house, Milena finds conclusive evidence that Vlada did commit war crimes when he was a soldier. These two events quietly rock Milena's rather staid world. What she decides to do about her life is affected by the eventual diagnosis regarding the lump and her and Vlada's friendships within that specific social circle.

They are 14 years old and live in Dubrovnik: Eta with her mother and grandmother, Linda with her father, who is a heart specialist at the local hospital and once lived in Switzerland, where Linda was born. The two girls are inseparable, although they often are drawn into fierce arguments. Together, they sneak into discos, fight over boys, and dream about an exciting future beyond their quaint hometown. One of their favorite places is the pine forest of Petka Hill on the outskirts of the city. On the first warm spring day, Eta and Linda retreat to a secret beach beneath the cliffs of Petka Hill. Once again they have an argument, this time with horrific consequences. Eta is left for dead on a rock by the sea, while Linda spends the night wandering aimlessly through the forest. However, the inhabitants of Dubrovnik don't want to know about the guilt and desolation plaguing Linda after her friend's death. The sunny, Mediterranean harbor town now seems sinister and full of secrets. Linda finds herself alone, with nowhere to turn and she unwittingly falls under the spell of Eta's mother and grandmother, who strangely treat her as if she were Eta. Linda's life gradually becomes interwoven with that of her deceased friend; step by step she seems to penetrate further and further into Eta's life as her own identity begins to dissolve, as if the two friends, the living and the dead, were mysteriously merging...
