Ледачого, добродушного холостяка просять доглянути за племінниками на час родинної кризи їхніх батьків. До дядька Бака ті звернулися від відчаю: більше залишити дітей ні з ким. Але крихта везіння, багацько любові, і дядько Бак зуміє всих здивувати.

Magazine reporter Jonathan Fisher, in danger of losing his job, promises to write a factual hard-hitting story of prostitution. But when he tries to get information from the subjects, he is ignored. So he ends up faking a well received story of a pimp, describing his life and crimes. But police think the story is of a real life pimp who is wanted for murder and start pressuring him to reveal the identity of subject in his story, and all he knows. The pimp the police suspect, also thinks the story is about himself, and wants to know what Jonathan knows, and who told him.

Ґлорія вийшла з в'язниці, відсидівши за свого приятеля, злочинця Кевіна, три роки. Випадок зіштовхує її з шестирічним Нікі, чиї батьки сталі жертвами посіпак Кевіна, а в руках хлопчиська дискета з інформацією, що загрожує викриттям злочинному синдикату. Кевін, пообіцявши Ґлорії гроші, не дає їй ані цента, і тоді, дізнавшись, що хлопчисько свідок і йому загрожує смерть, вона викрадає його. Поступово у неї з'являються до нього сильні материнські почуття, і вона робить усе, щоб врятувати його від убивць.Сюжет
