Є два способи перегляду аніме. Номер раз: Вдумливо вивчати кожний кадр і в кожне слово героїв, шукати скрізь приховані натяки і підтексти. Номер два: Просто розслабитися і дивитися. "Ті, хто полює на ельфів" саме для другого типу. Достатньо стандартний сюжет з вправно склеїних кліше (Дівчинка-школярка? Селюк-каратист? Кавайная собака? Будь ласка!) і обов'язкового роздягання безлічі ельфійок (вже в другій серії герої зізнаються, що роздягнули сотні... Який там хентай! Все цивільно...). У принципі серіал витягає ТАНК.
