Сюжет
Західна частина Австралії, 1931 рік. Ставши полонянками нового нелюдського закону, три дівчинки з племені аборигенів потрапляють у табір, що охороняється, де з них повинні зробити покірних служниць для білих панів. Не бажаючи підкорятися жорстоким правилам чужого світу, відважні полонянки втікають. Тікаючи від переслідувачів і щосили намагаючись вижити на безкрайніх випалених рівнинах, вони мають намір за будь-яку ціну повернутися у рідні краї.
