Незавершений фільм «Крилос» — історична розповідь про XII століття, навіяна розкопками храму в Галичі. Юліан Дорош розпочав фільмування кольорової кінострічки з життя України-Русі XII ст. (робоча назва «Крилос»), сценарій до якого написав Володимир Софронів-Левицький, а мистецтвознавець і художниця Ірина Гургула, за вказівками Ярослава Пастернака, спроєктувала одяг для персонажів фільму. На провідні ролі були запрошені співак з Волині Андрій Поліщук і аматорка з Копичинців Марійка Сафіянівна (Марічка Софіян-Лозинська). Проби фільму відбувалися улітку 1939 року в митрополичому саду архікатедри св. Юра у Львові.

A barmaid, a Mexican officer and a terrible toreador form a love triangle, as they dance, skip, kiss, punch and slap to the tune of Bizet's "Carmen." Later, the barmaid cheers her lover, and the officer razzes him, during the big bullfight.
