Університетський експеримент з «участю» шимпанзе Джека був визнаний невдалим, і його продали в медичну лабораторію. Друг Джека, університетський сторож, допоміг йому втекти. І Джек виявився в родині Стівена, який захоплений хокеєм і мріє потрапити в НХЛ. А поки що його команда "Наггетс" завжди програє. Але все змінюється, коли Джек за компанію зі Стівеном виходить на лід. Тренер бере його в команду, і Джек стає найціннішим гравцем "Наггетс". Він катається трохи швидше, кидає трохи сильніше.
