І чисто випадково дівчинка знаходить маленькі потаємні дверцята, за якими заховано інший світ – світ, де дім ошатний, їжа смачна, а батьки привітні й веселі. Все б наче нічого, але для того, щоб їй залишитися в цьому «ідеальному» світі, Інша Мама вимагає пришити ґудзики замість очей…Паралельний світ, який, як виявляє головна героїня, являє собою один лише будинок та сад біля нього, створила зла відьма. Проте, так і не стає до кінця зрозумілим, навіщо.
