Через зміни клімату, вирубування лісів та брак молоді, готової навчатись ремеслу, таємниці мисливців за трюфелями цінуються як ніколи. Однак скоро стане зрозуміло, що ці чоловіки поважного віку оберігають дещо цінніше за жаданий делікатес: таємницю багатого і сповненого змісту життя.

Її правила вигадав у 2004 році режисер Леонід Кантер: донести 4 кухонні табурети до 4-х океанів, без грошей, але з камерами в руках, з піснями й виставами про любов та Україну. В останню експедицію тривалістю в рік пішло 20 учасників. Серед них ініціатор експедиції – Леонід Кантер із дружиною та донькою. Унікальні кадри епізодів життя індіанців на карибських островах, бандитських латиноамериканських мегаполісів, вуличні вистави на майданах і палубах кораблів, перипетії між мандрівниками, пейзажі Амазонки та Патаґонії...
