480 рік до нашої ери. Багатотисячне військо персів підійшло до кордонів Греції, назустріч загарбникам вийшов невеликий загін воїнів зі Спарти, на чолі з царем Леонідом. Цар Персії Ксеркс запропонував спартанцям скласти зброю, але герої вирішили: "Разом перемогти або разом померти!". Чотири дні і чотири ночі йшла битва, найкраща гвардія - "Безсмертні", були випущені Ксерксом в бій і загинули під мечами трьохсот спартанців, що до останнього залишалися лицарями своєї землі.

In a parallel plot line we see Nick as a young boy and his family as they struggle to survive in the occupied Greek hillside. With care, the German command must figure out how to get him down.
