Nihal Singh is a young man from a village in Nabha, who in an attempt to get rid of an unwanted marriage proposal, ends up lying to his entire village that he loves somebody named 'Jasneet Kaur' (Surveen Chawla) from Vancouver. Родина індійських емігрантів, яких доля закинула в маленьке містечко в Провансі, вирішує відкрити кав’ярню зі східною кухнею... прямо навпроти відомого на весь округ ресторану "Плакуча верба", бастіону французьких кулінарних традицій, господиня якого, Мадам Малорі, більше за все на світі пишається тим, що її заклад удостоєно зірки в каталозі "Мішлен". Спочатку Мадам Малорі не приховує своєї огиди галасливими сусідами і їхніми екзотичними звичками, але поступово війна за клієнтів між двома ресторанами змінюється хитким перемир’ям, особливо, коли з'ясовується, що юний кухар-емігрант Гассан має досконалий смак, і рецепти французької кухні підкорюються йому так само легко, як таємниці індійських прянощів.Фільтр
