Twenty-nine year old Vancouverite Ryan Arlen is floundering in life. As a result, his girlfriend dumps him, she kicks him out of their apartment, and he is suspended from his mindless office job all on the same day. But Ryan thinks his life is turning around when out of a fluke of circumstances he is offered a job working for the provincial lottery corporation, and his real estate developer brother, with who he has a somewhat strained relationship, allows him to be the live-in caretaker of an empty upscale condo complex. After the initial euphoria, Ryan questions whether these new situations are just a continuation of his boring middle class existence, especially when others around him, such as his parents (his father who also recently lost his job) and his best friend, a slacker named Spike, are displaying a new found entrepreneurial spirit regardless of the actual business ventures. So when Bryce, a golf course designer that he met recently, offers him a lucrative business proposition, Ryan decides to take a chance on a different way of life. But Ryan begins to question this new experience as well. All that Ryan seems to know about his existence is his attraction to Bryce's Asian girlfriend, a movie set dresser named Ming, who, although not totally clear of her life path, is on one to which Ryan too may aspire.

Elmer Fudd appears: he's the only hunter alive dumb enough to fall for the gag. He's even dumber than that. When Bugs Bunny strides up to him and asks how the rabbit hunting is going, Elmer admits that he hasn't seen a rabbit yet. This is more than Daffy can stand. He emerges from his hiding place and immediately points to a rabbit: Bugs Bunny. "Shoot him now!" Daffy screams. "You be quiet," says Bugs. "He doesn't have to shoot you now." Daffy insists that he does. After Daffy returns his blasted-off beak to his head, he is doomed to more arguments infected with "pronoun trouble" which all have the same result. Випадково знайшовши на розпродажі 16 міліметрову копію фільму «На схід від Борнео» з Роуз Гобарт у головній ролі, Корнел був настільки зачарований акторкою, що вирізав з фільму всі кадри, де її не було. До тих, що залишилися, режисер додав кадри з фільму про сонячне затемнення і перемонтував це все в окрему короткометражку, яку назвав на честь виконавиці головної ролі — «Роуз Гобарт». Також Корнел видалив оригінальний саундтрек, а замість нього додав дві пісні з платівки бразильского співака Нестора Амарала, купленої в тому ж магазині мотлоху. Під час показів режисер умисно пропускав проєкцію через блакитне скло та уповільнював плівку до швидкості, з якою демонструють німе кіно (16 кадрів на секунду проти 24 у звуковому). Це надавало кадрам зі звичайного пригодницького фільму відтінку сюрреалістичності та таємничості.
