Mickey is trying to lead a concert of The William Tell Overture, but he's continually disrupted by ice cream vendor Donald, who uses a seemingly endless supply of flutes to play Turkey in the Straw instead. After Donald gives up, a bee comes along and causes his own havoc. The band then reaches the Storm sequence, and the weather also starts to pick up; a tornado comes along, but they keep playing.

Out in the snow, he may become a mouse Popcycle, and unless Christmas peace can descend, Tom may be in for a nasty surprise as well. Can the lads find the spirit of the season?

Pluto puts the cat up to mischief, but Bianca the goldfish fingers Pluto as the real culprit, getting him thrown outside. The kitten falls into a well, and the angel beats up the devil, convincing Pluto to save the kitten.

Mostly, though, he fights with a baby sea lion who keeps stealing both the fish and the show. Donald then finds himself and Mickey in an unrehearsed high wire act, which kicks into high gear when one of the orphans electrifies the wire. They end by doing a high dive into the seals' tank.

A spider descends into the sphinx; we follow behind it in a fairly impressive tracking shot. It reaches the central chamber and the mummies come to life and dance, as do the soldiers and royalty drawn on the wall. This includes a spirited chariot race. All the activity ultimately scares the spider, and it runs out.

But when the wolf comes around and blows their houses down (after trickery like dressing as a foundling sheep fails), they run to their brother's house.
