У 1930-му році знімальна група на чолі режисера-невдахи Карла Денхема вирушає на загадковий Острів Черепів недалеко від Суматри, аби вивчати легенди про гігантську горилу по кличці Конг. Після прибуття на місце вони виявляють, що Кінг Конг і справді існує.Горила живе в самій гущавині непрохідних джунглів, де окрім нього, заховані від всього світу, мешкають багато створінь з доісторичних часів. Дослідники виявляються між двох вогнів - з одного боку Кінг Конг, а з іншого - його вороги динозаври.
Сюжет

John must struggle to overcome language barriers, physical hardship and deep-rooted suspicion to earn the trust and love of the Tongan people he has come to serve.
