Карлос Саура (1932-2023) – один з найвідоміших іспанських режисерів, поряд з Бунюелем та Альмодоваром, народився в місті Уеска, Арагон. У віці 23 років Саура зняв свій перший документальний фільм, і відтоді не припиняв знімати ігрові та документальні фільми, грати в театрі, писати романи та організовувати фотовиставки. Режисер понад 50 фільмів, він здобув усі можливі нагороди в Каннах (окрім «Золотої пальмової гілки»), в Берліні (включаючи «Золотого ведмедя») і був тричі номінований на премію « ... Оскар» серед інших незліченних нагород.
Серія його музичних фільмів вважається одним з найважливіших творчих досягнень в сучасному кінематографі.

When his paraplegic friend Don Lucas, gets a motorized wheelchair, Proharan accompanies him to his wife's grave to leave flowers. Don Anselmo soon becomes obsessed with getting his own "little coach" and joining the subculture of other "cochetito" owners. However, when his tight-fisted son refuses to buy a chair for him, the old man tries several gambits to get one.
