New York substitute science teacher/stand-up comic Richard Martinez - who isn't even remotely effective at either - finally lands a full-time position in Texas through the Teaching Ambassador Program, but his stint falls short when it's discovered he's gay. Сюжет
Сюжет оповідає про трьох героїв на ім'я Патрік, Доніцет і Ральф. Вони працюють у супермаркеті, однак якщо представникам ЛГБТ загрожує чергова небезпека, герої перевтілюються з чарівних дрег-квінів, покликаних прилетіти на допомогу. На ЛГБТ уже довгий час точить око місцева церква святої Малафеї, яка мріє "врятувати" всіх ЛГБТ і "перевиховати" їх. Проте нова небезпека виникає в особі таємничої і злої дрег-квін на ім'я Леді Ельза. Вона за допомогою своїх винаходів витягує з людей "сяйво веселки", якими наділені всі представники ЛГБТ, щоб самій стати молодшою і сильнішою. Трійця героїв повинна перемогти Ельзу і повернути сяйво жертвам, які його втратили.Більшість персонажів у серіалі є транссексуальними жінками, головні три герої у своєму звичайному стані є гомосексуальними чоловіками, але після перетворення перетворюються також на транс-жінок, або дрег-квінів. Усіх транс-персонажів у серіалі також озвучують транссексуальні бразильські музиканти й актори.
