Сюжет
Гонконг, 1986. Працівник ресторану Ах Кай, розшукуваний за жорстоке вбивство роботодавця та його дружини, тікає до ПАР. Там він влаштовується в китайський заклад і під час поїздки до племені, ураженого Еболою, заражається вірусом після контакту з інфікованою жінкою. Несподівано він виявляється імунним: хвороба не вбиває його, але робить носієм, що передає інфекцію через біологічні рідини. Далі він повторює насильство, вбиває нового власника ресторану та його дружину, розчленовує тіла й перетворює їх на «гамбургери», заражаючи клієнтів. Коли поліція наближається, Ах Кай повертається до Гонконгу, і ланцюг заражень запускає спалах епідемії.
