Світ без дорослих - хто з нас у дитинстві не мріяв про таке..? Моліться, щоб ці ваші мрії збулися не таким чином, як у культовому серіалі новозеландських кінематографістів "Плем'я". Пандемія невідомого вірусу повністю викосила все доросле населення Землі, залишилися в живих тільки діти максимум років до 16-17, які виявилися не схильні до цієї страшної хвороби. Але як їм бути в цьому новому світі самим, без підтримки і допомоги старших?.. Вся кількатисячолітня цивілізація відразу розсипалася на порох, і тепер належить почати все з самого початку, з первіснообщинного ладу. Щоб вижити, діти об'єднуються в племена, які спільно шукають пожиток, захищають свою територію, б'ються і торгують з іншими племенами. Hа наших очах твориться нова історія людства - виникають і рушаться імперії, зароджуються нові релігії... Виявляється, що груба сила не завжди бере верх, часто перевага за тими, хто володіє знаннями, а й найдосконаліші технології іноді нічого не можуть протиставити релігійного фанатизму. Проте ж, коли ви разом, коли поруч надійне плече побратимів по племені, можна справитися і не з такими труднощами.Сюжет
