Залучивши спільників, він запускає ланцюг подій, які виходять з-під контролю. Тим часом соціальна працівниця та поліцейський опиняються втягнутими у справу. Зрада, насильство й помста переплітаються, ведучи до трагічних наслідків. Закон зрештою перемагає, але ціна цієї перемоги виявляється надто високою.
