The first half of this film, set hundreds of years ago, shows how the old man who eventually became Santa Claus was given immortality and chosen to deliver toys to all the children of the world. The second half moves into the modern era, in which Patch, the head elf, strikes out on his own and falls in with an evil toy manufacturer who wants to corner the market and eliminate Santa Claus.

У невеликому селищі живе чоловік із інтелектуальною інвалідністю, якого місцеві прозвали Товстий Кіт. Він постійно стикається з жорстокістю, насмішками та байдужістю мешканців. Соціальна працівниця Коко намагається змінити його життя, дати йому підтримку, гідність і шанс на нормальне існування. Вона вступає у постійну боротьбу з суспільною апатією та упередженнями, але поступово сама виснажується емоційно. Їхній зв’язок стає складним випробуванням для обох, оголюючи межі співчуття та людської витривалості. Історія показує, як добро і байдужість співіснують у суспільстві, де слабкі найчастіше залишаються без захисту.
Сюжет
