7.4 Сюжет
Журналіст з філософським прізвищем Девід Локк приїжджає робити матеріал до Північної Сахари, але робота не клеїться. Черговий обтяжливо-жаркий день приносить неприємний сюрприз: вмирає сусід, що живе в номері навпроти. Підкоряючись раптовому пориву, Локк забирає багаж покійного, переклеює фотографію в паспорті і спішно покидає готель в смутному передчутті нового життя.
