Події відбуваються через шість років після першої появи Фредді Крюґера. Він став набагато сильнішим, живлючись душами дітей з вулиці В'язів. Тепер він звернув увагу на сімох дітей у психлікарні. Становище ускладнюється повальними «самогубствами», яке, зрозуміло, є витівками Фредді.
