Більше всіх Біллі любить маленького кенгуру по кличці Джоуі.Коли батьків Джоуі викрадають браконьєри, Біллі вирішує допомогти кенгуру знайти сім'ю. Зібравшись в поїзд, що відправляється у велике місто, друзі вирушають в фантастичну подорож, яке подарує їм багато нових знайомств.
Дізнавшись, що життя батьків кенгуру в небезпеці, Біллі і Джоуі під схвальні вигуки всієї країни здійснюють сміливий план їх порятунку.
