У ньому він розповів про окремі яскраві роки в період між 1971-м і 1983-м. Фільм починається з появи Зіґґі Стардаста, показує темну сторону Майора Тома, що проявилася в «Ashes to Ashes», і веде нас до «Let’s Dance».

Фільм складається з трьох частин і простежує створення сценічної постановки «Інтимність» студентами театральної школи ENBU Seminar у Токіо. Спочатку глядач спостерігає за підготовкою вистави у майже документальній манері: актори та режисери працюють над текстом, репетиціями й власними творчими рішеннями. Центральне місце посідають поезія, написане слово та пошук способу перетворити їх на живий театр. Двоє режисерів, Рейко та Рьохей, намагаються разом довести постановку до завершення, але поступово стикаються з межами своїх професійних і особистих можливостей. Друга частина демонструє повну виставу, а фінальний епілог повертає історію до людей, які стоять за нею та переживають наслідки спільної творчої роботи.
