Молодий англієць Майкл Тревіс - поки що не джентльмен шукає себе в цьому «шаленому, божевільному, божевільному світі!'. Як приємно почати свій шлях в бізнес із запасів кави, особистого автомобіля, блискучого (натурально!) костюма з голочки і - майже весь світ у тебе в кишені! Але далі починається життєва дорога в прямому і переносному значенні.Джентльменський набір кіногероя: кар'єра, надія, обман, подорож, катастрофа, любов, музика, казанок з тростиною, знову обман...І єдиний успіх, який обов'язково прийде, якщо завжди залишатися самим собою!
