Але, на превеликий жаль, забув запитати в нього на це дозволу, оскільки Іен і Ліза побралися в Лондоні. На настійну вимогу Лізи, вони повертаються в село - тиху, сільську провінцію. Здавалося б, що тут може підстерігати,окрім нетривалого гніву батьків, молоду сімейну пару?
Однак Іена чекаю найнесподіваніші примхи провінційного побуту, милі у своєму роді, але не завжди кумедні і навіть драматичні. Але Іен, у дошлюбному житті керуючий комедійним клубом, все ж таки змушує нас поглянути на те, що відбувається з певною часткою гумору.
