Сюжет
У 1987 році в Токіо приїздить вісімнадцятирічний Йоносуке Йокомічі — простий і добрий хлопець із Нагасакі. Він починає студентське життя, знайомиться з новими друзями, вступає до самба-клубу та переживає перші захоплення. Незграбний, щирий і відкритий, Йоносуке непомітно змінює людей навколо себе. Паралельно показано їхні життя багато років потому, де пам’ять про нього залишається важливішою за будь-які гучні досягнення.
