Розважливий магнат Рід МакКейн купує збитковий лондонський зоопарк у надії перетворити його у надприбуткове підприємство. Новий керівник Ролло Лі, покликаний забезпечити зоопарку фінансове процвітання, починає впроваджувати жорстку маркетингову політику. Відтепер замість невеликих пухнастих звірят у клітках поселяться тільки найлютіші хижаки. Їх і будуть демонструвати публіці.
