Сюжет досить простий - уряд і армія США намагаються не допустити початку Третьої світової війни. Причиною цього стала криза, викликана діями глави Пакистану. Присутні три основні сюжетні гілки. Перша розповідає про владного держсекретаря, який намагається зробити новий стрибок в кар'єрі, користуючись моментом, який виник. Друга - палкий до розваг дипломат, який мріє про життя таємного агента. Третя - дозволить побачити реакцію на політичну кризу в армії США на прикладі офіцера повітряних сил. Всі три героя знаходяться далеко один від одного, але дії будь-кого з них, так чи інакше, впливають на всіх інших.Сюжет

When the directors met in film school, they realized they had had a very similar upbringing, sharing the same fears and similar desires. They both grew up spending their summers on the very same beach, although they never actually met during that time. Consequently, they decided to build the two main characters based on each other's experiences of when they were 18 years-old. Their film became the amalgamation of these memories, from this important moment of their lives, and ultimately a celebration of such unique coincidence. BEIRA-MAR was selected as one of the six works-in-progress screenings at the prestigious Toulouse's Cine en Construccion.

The two planners are as different as night and day, but as they too learn to compromise, they discover opposites do indeed attract and can combine to produce incredible results!

Скотт - колишній пожежник. Зараз він очолює групу екологов- активістів. Вони виготовили банер, на якому розміщено напис-попередження про лісові пожежі. Тепер банер треба десь повісити. Місцем перебування банера команда обирає зерносховище, тобто силос. Тепер банер буде дуже добре видно. Скотт підіймається на зерносховище, щоб повісити на ньому банер. Але він розуміє, що команда виявилася далеко не в кращому місці і в не в найкращий час. Адже на силосі знаходиться бомба, і рівно через 15 хвилин вона вибухне. Екологи терміново роблять ноги з цього місця, але незабаром відбувається страшний вибух. В результаті цього з'являється смерч, який несе хаос і руйнування. Виявляється, що в зерносховище містилося якесь паливо, створене в порядку експерименту компанією «Synco». Тепер Скотту і його команді пред'являють тероризм, а «Synco» переслідує їх. Екологам потрібно зупинити вогонь перш, ніж він зруйнує Лос-Анджелес.
