7.5 Сюжет
Після 15 років поневірянь від однієї прийьомної сім'ї в іншу Лакс вирішує взяти життя у свої руки і стати повністю незалежною. Для емансипації від опіки Люкс повинна отримати дозвіл від своїх біологічних батьків. Вона знаходить свого справжнього батька, Бэейза, 30-річний нероба, що живе з двома друзями прямо над баром, який і поняття не мав про те, що у нього є дочка. Не менше свого батька дивується Лакс, дізнавшись, що її мати, Кейт Кесіді, відома ведуча радіопередачі "Ранкове безумство", яку Лакс слухала усе своє життя. Вона постійно відчувала емоційний зв'язок з Кейт, хоча і не знала про свою спорідненість з нею. Співведучий Кейт - Райан, до того ж являється її хлопцем. Несподівано суддя виносить вердикт у справі Лакс - та не готова до емансипації, і тому він доручає тимчасову опіку її біологічним батькам, Бейзу і Кэйт, які погоджуються на запізнілу спробу дати Лакс те, чого їй так бракувало усі ці роки - сім'ю...
