Коли Супермен зрозумів, що один він не зможе встигнути абсолютно скрізь йому на допомогу прийшли: Бетмен - Страж Готема, Дж'онн Дж'онзз - Марсіанин, Джон Стюарт - Зелений Ліхтар, Флеш - Найшвидша Людина на Землі, Орлиця - Войовниця з Танагара, Діана - Принцеса Амазонок з острова Теміскіра.Їхнім штабом стала Сторожова Вежа на орбіті Землі, побудована на гроші Бетмена. Дії відбуваються не тільки на Землі, але й у далеких світах, космосі. Лиходіїв предосить: Лекс Лютор, Сапфір, Джокер - усі ті, з якими боролися супергерої коли були поодинці.

Завдяки цьому він знайомиться з Кумою, ученицею середньої школи, яка відчуває себе відстороненою від друзів і батьків і вважає цей магазин єдиним місцем, де вона може знайти спокій.
