У час, коли влада переходить із рук до рук як естафетна паличка, керівництво у свої руки має взяти особистість сильна, відважна, а головне непідкупна. В часи, коли чітка прірва між самураями та селянами, між заможними та бідними стає широкою як ніколи, має з‘явитися герой, що покладе тому неподобству край.15 років чекала японська земля свого Робін Гуда. І прийшов він, і встав він на захист селян у нерівній боротьбі із владою – великий ніндзя Ішікава Ґоемон. За плечима його немало таємниць минулого. Та сьогодні його мета - справедливість на рідній землі.
