Все починається з того, що поні на ім’я Вечірній Блиск з’являється з чарівного дзеркала і краде корону Зіроньки. У бійці корона падає в дзеркало, а Вечірній Блиск стрибає за нею. Без цієї корони порушується баланс Елементів Гармонії. Принцеса Селестія повідомляє Зіроньці та її друзям, що дзеркало переносить в паралельний світ. Вона доручає Зіроньці вирушити за Вечірнім Блиском через чарівне дзеркало, щоб повернути корону. Спайк стрибає за нею. По той бік Зіронька прибирає людську подобу, а Спайк стає собакою. Вони в паралельному світі, населеному людьми. Там вона зустрічає людей, схожих на її друзів з Еквестрії. Завдання Зіроньки - адаптуватися в цьому світі, знайти нових друзів і повернути зниклу корону.
