7.0 Сюжет
Сюжет серіалу розповідає про Землю, якою вона стала після Блідих воєн: протистояння землян і прилетівших "на поселення" інопланетян, чия система бінарних сонць перетворилася в наднову. Після того, як втрати з обох сторін досягли жахливих розмірів і на Землю помилково потрапили терраформуючі машини інопланетян, жменька солдатів усвідомила безглуздість взаємного знищення і кидає виклик своїм командирам. Ланцюгова реакція призвела до перемир'я між землянами і вотанцями. На початку серіалу з часів оголошення перемир'я пройшло 15 років. Колишній солдат Джозеф Нолан зі своєю прийомною дочкою-інопланетянкою Айриссою потрапляє в колись рідний Сент-Луїс, і вимушено стає захисником місцевих жителів на посаді шерифа. Йому належить жити в місті, яке нині носить горду назву Виклик, населеному представниками 6 рас, і боротися з силами, які намагаються стерти його з лиця Землі.
