Ко Чун — легендарний майстер азартних ігор, відомий як «бог гравців». Напередодні вирішальної дуелі з елітним суперником він потрапляє в пастку дрібного шахрая Найфа, призначену іншій людині, та після удару в голову втрачає пам’ять. Приниження і травма повертають його до дитячої поведінки, але інстинкт гри не зникає. Найф дає йому прихисток і швидко розуміє, що може нажитися на його неймовірному таланті. Разом із напарником і дівчиною, причетними до інциденту, він водить Ко по підпільних залах, що привертає увагу лихварів і давніх ворогів. Зрештою Ко має згадати себе і прийняти фінальний виклик за столом.
