Кларку Ґрізволду нарешті схвалили його винахід - консервант продуктів, здатний зберігати свіжість протягом цілих років. За премію завжди найкраще поїхати у відпустку з сім'єю - звісно, у Веґас. Але спершу не варто забувати про веселу родину, яка якраз живе неподалік Веґасу, але це вже окрема тема, повірте. Ціла проблема розгортається, коли Кларк вже програв все, і каже, що не вартий навіть сендівча, який роздають безкоштовно на вулиці. Вихід знайти важко, але його син, Расті проявив талант, чи скоріше щастя - він виграв більше, ніж собі міг коли подумати.
