Нерозлучні друзі Боунз і Джек зовсім не думали ставати героями. Вони записалися в резервісти американської армії, щоб заробити грошей і відкрити власний магазин. Але тихої служби в тилу не вийшло. Вільний світ знову в небезпеці, і ось вже браві вояки вирушають битися до Африки.Це зовсім не входило в плани Боунза і Джека, у яких по рівню героїзму в крові обігнав би і кролик. Але тут, за іронією долі, справа обернулася так, що саме цьому ексцентричному дуету належить внести основний вклад до перемоги.

When Manny Singer's wife dies, his young daughter Molly becomes mute and withdrawn. To help cope with looking after Molly, he hires sassy housekeeper Corrina Washington, who coaxes Molly out of her shell and shows father and daughter a whole new way of life. Manny and Corrina's friendship delights Molly and enrages the other townspeople.
