6.3 Сюжет
Фільм об`єднав в себе три оповідання — два з них зі збірки "Нічна зміна": "Корпорація "Кидайте палити" і "Карниз". Третє — об'єднуюче оповідання "Генерал" написане спеціально для фільму. Головною зв'язною ланкою фільму є бездомний кіт який намагається врятувати дівчинку від невідомої небезпеки.

Janey is new in town, and soon meets Lynne, who shares her passion for dancing in general, and "Dance TV" in particular. When a competition is announced to find a new Dance TV regular couple, Janey and Lynne are determined to audition. The only problem is that Janey's father doesn't approve of that kind of thing.

Вік Аякс працює звичайним техніком в магазині з продажу систем сигналізації та інших охоронних систем. Обвинуваченого у вчиненні кількох вбивств, його засуджують до страти. Знаходячись вже на електричному стільці, він просить знайти дівчину на ім'я Ненсі, адже тільки вона може підтвердити те, що всі ці вбивства — справа рук двох злочинців Артура Коддіша і Фарона Краша.

The daughter of his landlord, excited to have a real "movie person" living nearby, tries to help by putting him in touch with a man who wants to collaborate on a script--the strange "Dr. Jolly".
