У ньому разом із купцями подорожують юна красуня англійка Сара у супроводі охоронця та американський підліток Девід разом із батьками. Коли на караван нападає сумнозвісний работорговець на прізвисько «Шакал», живими залишаються лише Девід і Сара.Здається, що їм не уникнути загибелі у розпеченій пустелі, але, блукаючи пісками, вони знаходять тропічну оазу, що здалася їм справжнім раєм. Це місце стає їхнім домом. Девід і Сара навчаються виживати у самої природи, але найголовніше — вони відкривають один одного і розуміють, що можуть бути не просто друзями.
Але чи зможе райська оаза укрити їх від Шакала, який мріє зрорбити Сару своєю новою наложницею?
