Події розгортаються в альтернативній Японії, в місті під назвою Суґоморі, кількість населення якого постійно зменшується. Одного дня Соносакі раптово повідомляє її однокласник Кацухіра, що вона обрана для Кізнайверу. Система Кізуна, яка дозволяє Кацухірі ділитися своїми ранами з іншими, пов'язує його з однокласниками, які живуть своїм життям і нічого не здогадуються.Насправді система Кізуна є недовершеною системою для створення миру в усьому світі через поранення. Ті, хто під'єднаний до системи, звуться Кізнайверами, і коли один Кізнайвер отримує поранення - система ділить його на всіх інших.
Сюжет
Події розгортаються в альтернативній Японії, в місті під назвою Суґоморі, кількість населення якого постійно зменшується. Хіба що з дна морського понавидобували забагато гідрату метану, тектонічні плити зсунулись, і Японський архіпелаг поступово «здувся» під воду, тож тепер значно менший. А що поробиш, велика частина населення тепер живе на штучних островах, у плавучих містах, у кварталах-баржах, чи просто в каютах на кораблях. Морська торгівля в розквіті, військові кораблі здебільшого передані для рятувальних та навчальних (освітніх) цілей. Наприклад, лінкорами та крейсерами керують виключно жінки в навчальних школах та академіях (це пояснюється певними психологічними схильностями). Кораблі, доречі, не оригінали, а збудовані копії древніх суден з якимось нанозахистом екіпажу. В мене залишається єдине питання: чим взагалі в цьому всесвіті займаються чоловіки, окрім як будують допотопні навчальні дредноути, пітніють в субмаринах, засідають на нарадах, та дивляться по телику як «блакитні русалки» знов когось рятують на своїх стелс-тримаранах?Сюжет
