7.8 Сюжет
Тед Крамер, цілком присвятивши себе кар'єрі, не помічає того, що відбувається в його родині. Коли дружина кидає його, йому доводиться піклуватися про шестирічного сина.Тепер Крамеру доведеться грати незвичну роль: доглядати за малим, проводити з ним більше часу і, врешті, зрозуміти дитину. Хмара знищила 3 кораблі Клінгонської імперії та дослідницьку станцію. Тим часом, на Землі, зореліт «USS Ентерпрайз» було суттєво переоснащено; колишнього капітана корабля, Джеймса Т. Кірка, підвищено до звання Адмірала. Зоряний флот доручає команді «USS Ентерпрайз» дослідити хмару, бо це єдиний у флоті корабель в зоні перехоплення об'єкта.
