Жив-був хлопчик на прізвисько Дядько Федір. Він дуже любив тварин, але його батьки і чути нічого не хотіли про те, щоб в їх квартирі завівся хтось хвостатий і кошлатий. І довелося Дядьку Федору зі своїми новими приятелями - котом Матроськіним і вірною собачкою Шариком - відправитися в село Простоквашино.
