Сюжет
Котаро Хіґасі мріяв стати чемпіонським боксером, та поява нової хвилі кайдзю перекреслила його плани. Під час сутички з Астромоном хлопець гине, але П’ятеро Братів Ультра переносять його тіло до Туманності M-78. Там Мати Ультра рятує Котаро, з’єднавши його з Ультраменом Таро — воїном, який роками тренувався, наслідуючи прийоми інших Ультра-Братів і загартовуючи силу в битвах крізь час. Повернувшись на Землю, Котаро стає носієм Таро, вступає до ZAT і разом з новими союзниками відбиває атаки численних монстрів. Зрештою він прагне довести цінність людяності й намагається розірвати зв’язок із Ультра-воїном.Ультрамен Таро (1973—1974)
