У Римі відбувається ряд вбивств молодих дівчат. По характерних ознаках слідів, залишених на трупі, стає зрозуміло, що маніяк мав в дитинстві психологічні проблеми сексуального плану. У жертв розрізають груди, виколюються очі і відрізуються кінцівки. Чотири молоді американки, що поїхали відпочити на віллу, розташовану на вершині схилу, з якого сусіднє місто видно, як на долоні, стають об'єктом переслідування цього маніяка...Сюжет

Після року відсутності Тора-сан повертається додому, але непорозуміння змушує його знову вирушити в мандри. Дорогою він зустрічає Лілі — співачку, з якою одразу відчуває особливий зв’язок. Працюючи на фермі, він дедалі більше прив’язується до неї, але обставини розлучають їх. Коли Тора-сан хворіє, Лілі прагне повернутися й зізнатися у своїх почуттях, та життя знову втручається. Їхня історія стає ніжною й сумною розповіддю про кохання, що не встигає здійснитися, залишаючи слід у серці.
