2013 рік. Пацифіст-дивак Микола проводить екологічний експеримент. Разом зі своєю вагітною дружиною Настею він живе у власноруч виритій Норі — на нещодавно придбаній землі під Горлівкою, що на Донеччині. Подружжя відмовляється від шкідливих благ цивілізації, прагнучи довести людству, що жити в гармонії з природою у 21 столітті можливо. Попри побутові труднощі, сім’я диваків відчуває себе щасливою й вірить у цінність та успішність свого експерименту. Наївний світ Миколи руйнується з початком війни на Донбасі. Він відчуває себе безсилим перед неминучою загрозою — внутрішній світ Миколи перевертається...Бойовики вбивають вагітну дружину і вщент спалюють його Нору. Не знаходячи виправдання цій жорстокості, він приймає доленосне рішення й вступає в добробат, у лави снайперів. З дивака-математика насміхаються, але згодом, завдяки своїй впертості, він доводить, що з ним таки варто рахуватися.

With the intention of warning the public and inspiring action, the clock's hands are set in accordance to how great is the threat of destruction. Now, in the 21st century we are closer to Doomsday than ever before.
