Глибоко у Карпатах лежить таємнича країна Трансільванія — світ, у якому зло зустрічається на кожному кроці, світ, у якому небезпека оживає з заходом сонця, і де монстри, що живуть у глибині людських кошмарів, набувають форми. У цей світ потрапляє легендарний мисливець на чудовиськ Ван Гельсінґ, породжений на сторінках роману «Дракула» Брема Стокера. У своїй безперервній битві проти сил зла й за звільнення світу від породжень пекла, Ван Гельсінґ, за завданням таємної спільноти, вирушає у Трансільванію, щоб схрестити зброю зі смертельно небезпечним, наділеним невідомою силою графом Дракулою. На допомогу йому раптово приходить безстрашна Анна Валеріус, яка поставила за мету позбавити свою родину від вікового прокльону, убивши вампіра.
