5.7 Сюжет
Дія «Рози Версаля» розгортається в другій половині XVIII, в передреволюційній Франції.Генерал де Жаржо не має спадкоємця. Бажання ростити сина, який продовжить батьківську військову кар'єру, виявляється настільки сильно, що генерал називає свою останню дочку Оскаром-Франсуа і виховує, як хлопчика.
Коли Оскар виповнюється 14 років, батько представляє її королеві — але не як боязку дебютантку, а як претендента на звання командувача особистою гвардією королеви. У чесному поєдинку Оскар добивається цього високого чину і стає охоронцем юної Марії-Антуанети.
