Сюжет

У невеликому техаському містечку регулярно і безслідно зникають десятки людей. Місцеві жителі підозрюють, що в зникненнях якось задіяно сімейство Сойєр, яке володіє місцевою бойнею. В один день підозри перетворюються у факти після того, як однієї жертві сім'ї вдається вижити. Місцевий шериф, незважаючи на бажання місцевих жителів влаштувати самосуд, збирається судити сім'ю офіційно, проте натовп розлючених городян оточує житло Сойєр, спалює його до тла і вбиває всіх членів сім'ї. Через три десятиріччя, за сотні миль від маленького техаського містечка, дівчина на ім'я Хезер дізнається, що в Техасі у неї була бабуся, про існування якої вона навіть не підозрювала. Прибувши на місце з друзями, вона виявляє, що у спадок їй дістався даний маєток у Вікторіанському стилі. Правда у всього є своя ціна, і Хезер розуміє це, коли дізнається про кошмари, які таяться у підвалі будинку.

He therefore teams up with the newsagent Petar and the pharmacist Marin. After they abolish all forms of birth control on the entire island, the consequences become more and more complicated.
